FUNCTIONAL SUMMARY:

We’re seeking a candidate with a “hunter” mentality and the vision to attract customers for an innovative product combining the best of Accuride’s traditional movement products with new interactive, RFID locking solutions. This position reports to the Director of Sales and is a home office based position that can be located anywhere in the Eastern United States in proximity to a Major airport, ideally in the North East/Mid-Atlantic/Tri-State area.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Research, identify and penetrate target industry accounts. Secure specification within major projects within the High-Value Retail (Jewelry, Cannabis, and Cellular) and Healthcare (Hospital, Clinic, Veterinarian) spaces.
  • Initiate sales activity with top-level management at target industry accounts and coordinate cross-functional teams to secure new business.
  • Discover and validate key product differentiators within target industry accounts.
  • Establish contacts, develop relationships and conduct discovery to identify new program opportunities for Secure Access solutions with manufacturers or end users. Drive specification with architects and design houses and lead the cross functional sales team to successfully close the specified business.
  • Along with the Application and Tech Support Engineers, become a subject matter expert (SME) for Senseon Secure Access Solutions and competitive advantages.
  • Define and understand target market product trends and specifications and communicate requirements to product marketing and sales management.
  • Participate in important industry events, trade shows and industry specification activities.
  • Achieve annual sales quota for the Secure Access Solutions product line.
  • Report Monthly on sales/marketing activity in Company CRM system (Sugar).
  • Report quarterly on industry trends, competition and activities.
  • Perform other job functions as assigned.

Essential Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of business development experience in targeted industries and segments. In-depth knowledge of the Security, Compliance, and Building Automation system needs of the customers in these spaces.
  • Knowledge of the customer’s construction ecosystem(s), industry requirements and trends.
  • Past Experience in High-Value Retail (Jewelry, Cannabis, and Cellular) and/or Healthcare Industries with an active list of End User C-level decision making contacts.
  • Past experience in developmental, specification and consultative sales processes.
  • Experience managing adjunct Channels to Market (Ecosystem partners & Distribution)
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic sales planning and execution.
  • Ability to discover customer needs and advocate total cost of ownership advantages and benefits to the C-level decision makers.
  • Ability to manage long-sales-cycle engagements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with senior-level contacts.
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand complex electro-mechanical concepts, convey technical advantages and recommend technical applications to meet customer needs.
  • Computer proficiency – Microsoft Office; knowledge of Security Software preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong technical aptitude.
  • Required Travel: As needed to achieve goals for the territory.
  • Locations: Resides in Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, or Tri-State regions in the United States.

Salary: $85,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year (Plus Bonus)
